Sports and Activities

The school provides a wide range of sporting facilities. These include a PE hall, basketball courts and a sports field. Extra curricular activities in the school are rugby, basketball, hockey, badminton, sailing, comogie, hurling, football, soccer, chess, choir, orchestra, debates, school bank, musical shows, Social Action Group, Amnesty International, Mini Companies and European School exchange. Team training and orchestra practise takes place after school hours.

Through the Cork Electronics Industry Association, the school is linked with Moog International, Ringaskiddy. This company designs and builds electronic control equipment. Moog personnel visit the school and talk to students. Staff and students visit the factory where they can see first hand how a variety of equipment is made. This enhances their interest in pursuing careers in Electronics.
